From Seed to Bouquet
Dahlias, zinnias, sunflowers, and whatever the season decides to give us. The cutting garden is the heart of Farmcastle — planted in spring, blooming through fall, and always a little wild.
The Flock
Fresh Eggs Every Morning
Our backyard flock keeps us in eggs year-round. There is something grounding about morning chores — filling feeders, collecting eggs still warm from the nest, watching the girls do their thing.
Beekeeping
The Hives Are Humming
Beekeeping has been one of the most humbling and rewarding parts of farm life. Our hives sit at the edge of the garden where the bees have everything they need — and they give back more than we ever expected.

Vegetable beds, herb borders, perennial patches — the gardens at Farmcastle are always in some stage of becoming. We are learning what this land wants to grow and working with it, not against it.
