Farmcastle · Johnson City, Tennessee
Hi, I'm Jade
Welcome to Farmcastle — a historic 1890s estate in the hills of East Tennessee, just outside Johnson City. I'm Jade, and this is where I'm building the life I always imagined: cutting gardens full of dahlias and zinnias, backyard chickens, beehives humming in the summer heat, and a farmhouse that's slowly becoming exactly what it was always meant to be.
JadeTree's Garden is how I share it all — the beauty and the hard work, the quiet Sunday mornings with my dogs Hunter and Coby, the latte that gets cold while I'm out doing chores, and the flowers that make every bit of it worth it.
This isn't a perfect farm. It's a real one. And I'm so glad you're here.
The Journey
1890s
Farmcastle was built in the late 1800s — a grand estate in the hills of East Tennessee, with stone foundations, wide porches, and land that has fed families for over a century.
The Arrival
When I first walked this property, I knew. The old bones of the estate, the overgrown cutting gardens, the quiet — it all felt like something worth saving, worth building.
The Work
Season by season: clearing beds, planting dahlias and zinnias, setting up hives, building the flock. Hunter and Coby supervising every step. Lattes fueling the early mornings.
Today
The brand grew out of the life — sharing what we grow, what we make, and what we love. From the farm stand to custom florals, this is Farmcastle in full bloom.
The Farm Crew
No farm morning is complete without these two. Hunter and Coby are my constant companions — supervising chores, stealing sunny spots on the porch, and making sure no latte goes unattended for too long.
They're as much a part of Farmcastle as the gardens and the hives. You'll see them in almost every post — because honestly, they're the best part of the day.
What We Stand For
Everything here starts with the land — the soil, the seasons, the slow work of tending something alive.
No filters on the hard mornings. No pretending the garden is always perfect. This is real farm life.
We believe in making things beautiful — the bouquet, the egg basket, the morning light on the porch.
What the farm gives, we share — at the stand, in the shop, and in every post we put out into the world.
The best of Farmcastle lives on Instagram and TikTok — behind the scenes, in the garden, and at the stand. Come find us.
